Joined the Liberal Party when at university. Since then I have chaired 2 constituency parties; fought 5 parliamentary elections, and numerous local elections, and been a county councillor between 2013 and 2025 as either spokesperson or cabinet member for Children's Services in Oxfordshire. Hello – My name is Paul Duffy, and I have been a Liberal Democrat member since 2016 ( voter since 2001)
I have been a PPC twice for Congleton, Police Crime Commissioner for Cheshire and recently the Lib Dem By-election candidate for Runcorn and Helsby.
I have been a town councillor within Congleton and for a year was held the post of Town Crier!
